On Saturday Lauren, Audrey and myself enjoyed some local Hibachi. My oh my was it delicious. Who knew this amazing eatery was down the road from me all along! I ordered the hibachi salmon which came with salad, soup, fried rice and shrimp and vegetables. Oh, and if you’re wondering I did NOT eat it all haha I ate a ton though.

In true Lauren fashion we arrived an hour and a half late. Our dinner date was actually a girl’s night out, but coincidentally I made the reservations on judgment day so we ended up celebrating life instead. We literally laughed the whole night, can’t wait till our next outing.

I wish I could enjoy a week full of rain, but it does nothing for my hair. On the other hand I do quite enjoy the fact that it washes the pollen away. Allergy season is affecting everyone, including Jonas :(

Hopefully after this week we will all be as good as new.

On Saturday Jonas and I rode several trains and one taxi, ate ice cream, sat impatiently under a hair dryer for what felt like hours (me) and grumpily woke up to a hair cut (Jonas).

I spend way too much time at work so I enjoy being able to spend a whole weekend with Jonas, even if he isn't always on his best behavior. The personality he's developing is constantly surprising me. This fall he'll be starting daycare, where he'll be interacting with children and learning new things. I'm excited for him, but I'm enjoying this and even though he's half my size, he's still my baby.

Pic1 Currently enjoying these super comfy/super cute bunny slippers from Target. Walking around barefoot is the one of the grossest things to me, bleh.

Pic2 Third offenders, I'm guilty of keeping certain pieces in heavy rotation. I have enough clothes and shoes to fill a room or two, but I don't have space to store it all (see pic 4), so I end up wearing whatever I see.

Pic3 My go to snack, meatless tacos: black beans, Cheddar & Mozzarella cheese, lime seasoned tortilla chips and mild salsa. Only thing missing is the jalapenos :)
