(William Rast x Target Utility Pants, Via Spiga Wedges, AA crop top)

On Saturday Lauren and I went to see pt.2 of the final installment of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. I’m somewhat sad that it’s come to an end. I have hopes that J.K Rowling publishes something soon. The Harry Potter series has consumed most of my childhood. Although the books are somewhat lengthy, you have to give Rowling her credit. The creativity and attention to detail is incredible.

(Thrifted D.I.Y Levi's, American Apparel Shirt, Via Spiga clogs)
The Salvation Army blessed me with these Levi's last summer. With my scissors handy I was able to achieve some high waist denim shorts. All for the price of $4.99! I would like to rough them up a little so I decided to wear them one last time before I begin the transformation. I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend, I'm looking to soak in some sun.

(AA skirt, Franco Sarto shoes, Forever21 sunnies)
Stumbling upon forgotten goods gives me great thrills. I recently reunited with these sunglasses. You would never guess where I found them! Why of course my mother had them on! August makes two years since we left Georgia. These sunglasses were one of my last purchases before we moved, well at least one that I can distinctly remember. Hence I felt sentimental and nostalgic when I spotted them on my mothers beautiful face.

In the famous words of Maria Gonzalez "dress up in like clogs...you guys know what I mean?".

(If you were wondering, we all had no idea what she meant hahahaha)

(Kimchi Blue Romper, Zara Heels, Aldo jewelry)
Up until this point I was skeptical about whether or not this romper was lingerie. I'm still unsure but its so lightweight and dainty it's just too perfect for the muggy weather here in New York.

I purchased these shoes at Zara a few months back. Lately I've been gravitating towards shoes without platforms and a more casual heel, even though I'll tell anyone that five inch heels are just as casual :) I like the versatility. It really changes the entire tone of a outfit when you subtract the platform. Either way I love all my shoes just the same. These in particular are giving my wardrobe the perfect "pop" of color.

Last weekend my good friend Maria threw her annual tea party! It was so much fun, I never been to a tea party before so I didn't know what to expect. There were so  many delicious goodies, I just wanted to eat them all up! I didn't actually drink any tea, although there were several choices. God if anyone ever actually witnessed how much sugar I put in my tea they would think I was mental. Luckily Maria made these neat little pouches with different varieties of teas inside (I took home two! ha ha). Dressing for the occasion was kind of sweet since I haven't got much wear out of my Rodarte for Target dress. The tulle seemed all too perfect for the occasion.

(I'm such a genius that I lost my contacts and I've been wearing my glasses for a week!)

(H&M Bathing Suit, Casio Watch, Aldo Earrings)

Five facts about me

1. My favorite place is the beach for more than a million reasons. Sand is the greatest exfoliator and every time I go my sisters and I "exfoliate" dramatically :)

2. My eyes are super sensitive to light. Not only do I wear contacts but I wear glasses about 50% of the time.

3. I only drink water at room temperature. Cold water hurts my throat.

4. I have an unhealthy obsession with almonds, soy milk and California rolls.

5. I'm a retired modern jazz and tap dancer.
